Well, still no computer but it's getting there. I'm slowly trying to get back into the swing of things, regardless if I have a fancy new computer or not. yes, a computer would make things faster and a tad easier, haha. I've been working on quite a few things as of late. So many artworks at one go but nothing to really to show for, probably annoying for you and very annoying for me. I've been so tired, I'm still a full time Mom until Ro goes to school which is still a while yet. As soon as my husband gets home it's dinner and off to work...not much family time there. It has really worn me out. I need to find a happy balance. Not to mention these last couple of weeks has been very scary health wise as I found out I have another blood clot in my leg. not ideal is it? lots of doctors appointments for me, which eats up art and family time, not to mention the stress. Even with all this I am crazy happy still and very much looking forward to the future. I'm much more positive these days and it makes me happy...I get to live the life I love. I get to spend my days with my son and paint. what more really could I ask for. I want to thank all of your for sticking with me and always supporting my work! it helps pay for the bills and put food on our table. It makes me do what I love! Thank you:) This is my work in progress pictures for 'Feast for the Eyes' I know I've been getting lots of emails about how I do things, I will go more into the process when I get my computer. the top picture is my art table. usually I do not have this many paints out but I wanted certain colours from different brands. I'll be getting an empty palette soon to put my favourite most used colours in. Here is my Work in progress for Frejya, she is not finished yet. My first oil painting. I've been having so much trouble with her skin! I love mixing skin tones and it's just a completely different process than when you use watercolours. As hard as I've been finding oils I've been absolutely loving the painting process!! I'm hoping to get her finished soon, so far its been taking me months!!.
I hope you've enjoyed this post. I'll be doing a lot more of these in the future.
